Cover Reveal & What to Expect

With less than 48 hours until the release of Apartment, I've decided to reveal the cover of the book today. I do remember saying that I'd be revealing it on December 31, 2020; alas, life works on its own schedule. Here's that long-awaited cover reveal!

As I've mentioned before, I decided to go with a minimalist design for Apartment, and I've stuck to the new color scheme of white, grey, red, and occasionally black. The literary companion, which was meant to be released alongside the novella but which won't be available until at least a few months afterwards, will also have a similar design.

Additionally, these past few weeks I've been working very hard on preparing the launch package, because this is my first book and I wanted to do something at least somewhat special for it. I ended up adding a whole bunch of goodies that I hope readers will enjoy.

As I've illustrated in the above image, once you have purchased the ebook, you receive a ZIP file as a download. Inside you will find a folder containing:

1. A letter from the author
2. Apartment in EPUB format for use with smartphones and tablets
   
3. Apartment in PDF format for use with laptops and tablets
   
4. A discussion questions sheet (6 questions) to help guide discussion in a group setting
   
5. An individual reflection journal (7 questions) that you can fill in without printing
6. A crossword puzzle that you can print out
   

Because most of us have different devices that we use at different times of the day - like a laptop and a smartphone, for example - I decided to offer the book in two formats for easier access between a range of devices. I had originally planned to add a MOBI file as well, but decided against it because of its limited design capabilities. 

The discussion questions, reflection journal, and crossword puzzle were all added for fun, and I hope that readers enjoy them. I look forward to creating more goodies for Apartment that I can share in future!
