 FORTHCOMING RELEASE: Apartment

Earlier on this week, a release date for my eerie suspense novella Apartment was decided upon, and today it is my great pleasure to announce that the book which I have worked on and spoken about for such a long time is currently slated for digital release on January 5, 2021!

Here's the blurb:

James is a self-exiled artist and recluse who rarely leaves his apartment building.

Angela is a lonely, bored accountant who feels her life has stagnated.

Alex is on the run from a past that won't let go, eager for freedom and a normal, peaceful existence.

Three people living in the same apartment building become increasingly suspicious of one another. Things escalate quickly when their building comes under attack, catapulting them into an absurd reality that forces them to face their wrongs and their pasts.

Apartment is a suspenseful literary fiction novella with magic realism elements. The story follows the sole three inhabitants of a gigantic apartment building, chronicling their growing suspicions of one another. Their fragile peace is shattered when their building falls under attack, and they are thrown into a fight for their survival where they must confront the sins of their pasts.

At least -- that's what it is on the surface. Like an onion, this book has many layers to peel back. I was highly inspired by the works of Haruki Murakami and Gabriel Garcia Marquez when writing this book, and created a story that used magical realist elements to make the audience think about various topics in our world, including the darker parts of human nature, sexism, the dangerous and negative exploitation of modern technology (with relation to stalking), and more.

I am planning on sharing an in-depth press release soon, as well as a media kit for the book that will include excerpts, graphics, author bio, and more! In the meantime, if you are interested in getting in contact with me for more information about the release, please do so here.

If you are interested in reviewing the book, please contact me via this form, and I will do my best to get back to you within 48 hours.
