EP06: Reading "Brittle Teeth" - Part Two - TRANSCRIPT

 Hi! You're listening to Hyba is Writing, and I am your host, Hyba. In the last episode, I started reading out my short horror story, Brittle Teeth. In this episode, I'm going to finish reading the story! You can read along at any of the links found in the description of this episode. If you haven't listened to Part One, definitely go ahead and do that first - that episode also includes a content/trigger warning, as well as a short disclaimer and some other information.

Before I get started with Part Two, I just want to do a quick recap. In the first part of the story, Martin began losing all his teeth - and they're not just falling out - they're crumbling! Because of this, Martin has become increasingly unstable, and we get to see more of that transformation in the second half of the story, along with what I feel is the true horror of this short story. We left the story off at the part where he's on his way to the grocery store and meets a stranger who is extremely unattractive to him physically, but whose voice and teeth are very much perfect. Martin doesn't think this is very fair, and this is actually the incident that sort of pushes him over the edge, really. Now, we're on to Part Two!
